Lucky Brand Dungarees seeks 90-day extension of exclusive periods

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 30 – Lucky Brand Dungarees, LLC is seeking a 90-day extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company is asking the court to extend the exclusive plan filing period through Jan. 29 and the solicitation period through March 30.

While the debtors already filed a plan on Aug. 28, they said that the extension would ensure that they would be able to file and solicit an alternative plan if one is required.

However, the company said that given the broad consensus reached with its primary constituencies, it does not foresee needing an alternative plan.

A hearing is set for Nov. 17.

Lucky is a Los Angeles-based fashion designer and premium denim manufacturer. The company filed bankruptcy on July 3 under Chapter 11 case number 20-11768.
