Fitch revises Anima outlook to positive

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlook on Anima Holding SpA's long-term issuer default rating to positive from stable and affirmed the IDR at BBB-. The agency also affirmed Anima's senior unsecured long-term rating at BBB-.

“The revision of the outlook reflects Anima's lower leverage (gross debt/EBITDA ratio, excluding performance fees, of 2.5x at end-1H23) following the prepayment of its remaining bank loan in June 2023 (€82 million). Anima's large unrestricted cash balances, cash-flow generative business model and prudent management provide sufficient headroom to balance a lower EBITDA generation in Fitch's plausible downside scenario,” Fitch said in a press release.
