S&P alters Socar view to negative

S&P said it revised the outlook for State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic or Socar to negative from stable, citing the risks of the ongoing conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. S&P revised its outlook for Azerbaijan last week to negative from stable.

The agency affirmed its BB- ratings on Socar and its senior unsecured notes due 2023 and 2030.
