Globe Life to sell senior notes, redeem 3.8% notes due 2022

Knoxville, Tenn., May 16 – Globe Life Inc. plans to sell senior notes, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call followed by a par call.

BofA Securities Inc., U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Regions Bank is the trustee.

Counsel to the issuer is provided by McAfee & Taft and to the underwriters by Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.

Proceeds will be used to repay the company’s $300 million of 3.8% senior notes due 2022.

Globe Life is an insurance holding company based in McKinney, Tex.
