China’s Luzhou Bank proposes issue of tier 2 capital bonds

Chicago, Aug. 26 – Luzhou Bank Co., Ltd. has proposed an issue of tier 2 capital bonds, according to a notice.

The issue size would not be more than RMB 2.5 billion, and the tenor would not be more than 10 years.

The issue is subject to approval by way of special resolution by the bank shareholders at the first extraordinary general meeting in 2021.

The bonds would be issued within 24 months of the adoption of the special resolution.

Proceeds would be used to supplement the tier 2 capital of the bank.

The banking services provider is based in Luzhou, China.
