Diocese of Buffalo reports $94,293 net profit for May

Olympia, Wash., July 5 – The Diocese of Buffalo reported a $94,293 net profit for May on $1.18 million gross income, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York.

To compare, the diocese reported a $91,735 net loss for April on $1.01 million gross income.

The diocese posted a $6.28 million cash balance at the end of May, up from $5.83 million at the end of April.

The diocese filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Feb. 28, 2020 under case number 20-10322.
