Diocese of Buffalo reports $91,735 net loss for April

Olympia, Wash., June 15 – The Diocese of Buffalo reported a $91,735 net loss for April on $1.01 million gross income, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York.

To compare, the diocese reported a $298,076 net profit for March on $1.18 million of gross income.

The diocese posted a $5.83 million cash balance at the end of April, down from $6.51 million at the end of March.

The diocese filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Feb. 28, 2020 under case number 20-10322.
