Diocese of Buffalo receives extension of exclusive plan periods

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 22 – The Diocese of Buffalo received an extension of the exclusive periods to file and solicit votes for its Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York.

The exclusivity period was extended through Dec. 24, and the solicitation period through Feb. 22, 2021.

The diocese filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Feb. 28 under case number is 20-10322.
