Duff & Phelps grows restructuring offerings by acquiring Borrelli Walsh

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 30 – Duff & Phelps has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Borrelli Walsh, a leading specialist restructuring, corporate recovery, insolvency and forensic accounting firm, according to a news release.

The combination strengthens restructuring offerings for clients in Asia, the Caribbean and around the world.

“Founded in 2006, Borrelli Walsh has been involved in some of the largest and most difficult restructurings, corporate collapses and investigations. It has an unrivaled reputation for achieving results for clients through its innovative and hands-on approach in complex jurisdictions, including China and Indonesia,” the release states.

Borrelli Walsh’s suite of services include financial and operational restructuring; corporate recovery and insolvency; corporate advisory, directorships and valuations; financial investigations, forensic accounting and expert witness; and fund and asset management. Its clients include private equity funds, bondholders, local and international banks, public and private companies, regulators and industry bodies, government agencies and family offices.

Duff & Phelps is a New York-based independent adviser with expertise in the areas of valuation, corporate finance, disputes and investigations, compliance and regulatory matters and other governance-related issues.
