New Issue: Sharjah issues $750 million of trust certificates due 2034

Lexington, Ky., Dec. 20 – The government of the Emirate of Sharjah, with Sharjah Sukuk Programme Ltd. as issuer, issued $750 million of 6.092% trust certificates with a scheduled dissolution date of March 19, 2034 (Ba1/BBB-), according to an offering document.

The Regulation S trust certificates were issued at par on Sept. 19.

Standard Chartered Bank was the bookrunner.
