Moody's shifts Bridgestone view to stable

Moody’s Investors Service said it affirmed Bridgestone Corp.'s A2 issuer rating and changed the outlook to stable from negative.

"The affirmation of the A2 rating and change in outlook to stable from negative reflect our view that Bridgestone will maintain its margin improvement as a result of its company-wide restructuring and the strategic downsizing of its non-core businesses," said Ryohei Nishio, a Moody's analyst, in a press release.
