Fitch rates Boston Scientific notes A

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A rating to Boston Scientific Corp.'s planned $600 million senior unsecured notes issue.

At the same time Fitch affirms the company's current ratings, including the senior unsecured notes at A, issuer default rating at A, $2 billion unsecured bank credit facility at A and commercial paper at F1.

The agency said Boston Scientific's ratings reflect the company's strong credit profile characterized by robust cash flow, modest leverage, stable margins and favorable strategic positions in several established and emerging technologies.
