Discovery Group owns 5.2% of Books-A-Million

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 18 - A group of Books-A-Million, Inc. investors led by Discovery Group I, LLC bought 28,218 shares at prices from $6.10 to $7.00 each.

The shares were acquired between Aug. 25 and Sept. 17, according to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Discovery Group beneficially owns 809,574 shares, or 5.2%, of the Birmingham, Ala.-based book retailer.
