Bombay net loss falls to $407,236 in May

Pittsburgh, July 3 - The Bombay Co. Inc. reported a $407,236 net loss for May on zero revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The May net loss widened from a $234,532 April net loss. The company also posted zero revenues in April.

Cash and cash equivalents on May 31 were $25.27 million, compared with $25.92 million at the end of April.

Bombay, a Fort Worth, Texas-based designer, importer and marketer of proprietary home furnishings, filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 20, 2007. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-44084.
