Bombay reports $1.04 million February net profit

Pittsburgh, April 29 - The Bombay Co. Inc. reported a $1.04 million February net profit on zero revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In comparison, the company posted an $8.38 million net loss in January on $14.36 million in revenues.

Cash and cash equivalents on Feb. 29 were $12.97 million, compared with $13.88 million at the end of January.

Bombay, a Fort Worth, Texas-based designer, importer and marketer of proprietary home furnishings, filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 20, 2007 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-44084.
