Chicago, May 18 – Bombardier Inc. sold a $260 million add-on to its 7.45% senior notes due 2034 to a private investor, according to a press release.
The notes were sold at par.
The investor is the beneficial majority holder of the series.
The additional notes bring the principal amount outstanding up to $510 million.
Proceeds from the notes will be used to repay a portion of the corporation’s outstanding debt.
The notes were originally issued on April 21, 2004 and are involved in a consent solicitation.
The issuer is a Montreal-based aerospace and transportation services company.
