Fitch rates Shenzhen Investment A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Shenzhen Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. long-term foreign and local currency issuer default ratings of A+.

The outlook is stable.

Fitch said it believes the company is strategically important to Shenzhen, a large city in southern China.

A default by the company could have significant socio-political and financial implication for the city, the agency said.

Fitch said the ratings are assessed under its government related entities rating criteria, reflecting the Shenzhen municipality's ownership, direct control and strong support track record of the company.
