Marshall Funds announces launch of four BMO funds

San Diego, Dec. 30 - Marshall Funds, Inc. announced the launch of four new BMO funds in an N-1A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The BMO Dividend Income Fund seeks to provide capital appreciation and current income. It will invest at least 80% of its net assets primarily in dividend-paying common stocks of large-sized U.S. companies similar in size to those within the Russell 1000 Value index.

The fund's investor class (class Y) shares will trade under the symbol "MDIYX," and its institutional class (class I) shares will trade under the symbol "MDIVX."

The portfolio manager will be Daniel P. Brown.

Management fees will be 0.5%, and including other expenses and a fee waiver with the adviser, the total annual fund operating expenses will be 0.95% for class Y shares and 0.65% for class I shares.

The BMO Monegy High Yield Fund seeks to maximize total return consistent with current income. It will invest at least 80% of its assets in a diversified portfolio of domestic and foreign high-yield, high-risk, fixed-income securities.

The fund's class Y shares will trade under the symbol "MHBYX," and its class I shares will trade under the symbol "MHBNX."

The portfolio managers will be Sadhana Valia, Lori J. Marchildon and Ovidiu Sandu.

Management fees will be 0.5%, and including other expenses and a fee waiver with the adviser, the total annual fund operating expenses will be 0.95% for class Y shares and 0.65% for class I shares.

The BMO Pyrford International Stock Fund seeks to provide capital appreciation and will invest at least 80% of its assets in equity securities of companies located in countries outside the United States, targeting companies that are located in the countries included in the MSCI EAFE index.

The fund's class Y shares will trade under the symbol "MISYX," and its class I shares will trade under the symbol "MISNX."

The portfolio managers will be Bruce Campbell, Tony Cousins, Paul Simons and Daniel McDonagh.

Management fees will be 0.8%, and including other expenses and a fee waiver with the adviser, the total annual fund operating expenses will be 1.24% for class Y shares and 0.99% for class I shares.

The BMO Pyrford Global Strategic Return Fund seeks to maximize total return and will normally invest in investment-grade sovereign debt securities and equity securities. It will normally invest at least 40% of its net assets in securities located outside the United States and will be diversified among at least three different countries, with a focus on North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in emerging market countries.

The fund's class Y shares will trade under the symbol "MGRYX," and its class I shares will trade under the symbol "MGRNX."

Management fees will be 0.8%, and including other expenses and a fee waiver with the adviser, the total annual fund operating expenses will be 1.24% for class Y shares and 0.99% for class I shares.

For all four funds, there will be no sales charge, but shares will be assessed a redemption fee of 2% for shares held less than 30 days.

The funds' investment adviser will be Milwaukee-based M&I Investment Management Corp.
