BMC in talks with lenders regarding waiver of non-compliance with covenants and payments

By Sara Rosenberg

New York, July 1 - BMC Industries Inc. and its lenders continue to hold discussions regarding a waiver to the company's credit facility.

The waiver is necessary since, as of June 30, the company was in non-compliance with certain covenants, including the non-payment of certain scheduled principal payments and fees, according to a news release.

BMC is a Minneapolis producer of polycarbonate, glass and plastic eyewear lenses, and manufacturer of precision photo-etched metal and electroformed parts, aperture masks used in color TV and computer monitors.
