BlackRock adds Ian Jamieson to three funds' portfolio management teams

San Diego, Dec. 1 - BlackRock Funds and BlackRock Variable Series Funds, Inc. announced that Ian Jamieson has been added as a portfolio manager to three funds, according to 497 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Jamieson, director of BlackRock, Inc. since 2007, joins the existing portfolio management team of Thomas Callan and Michael Carey for the following funds:

• BlackRock Global Opportunities Portfolio;

• BlackRock International Opportunities Portfolio; and

• BlackRock Global Opportunities V.I. Fund.

The funds' investment adviser is New York-based BlackRock Advisors LLC.
