Blackrock Money Market portfolios to close Hilliard Lyons shares

Minneapolis, March 12 - The board of trustees of BlackRock Funds approved a proposal to close the Hilliard Lyons shares of the Blackrock Money Market Portfolio and the Blackrock Municipal Money Market Portfolio, according to a 497 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Effective 4 p.m. ET on March 12, the funds will no longer accept orders to purchase Hilliard Lyons shares.

The funds' adviser is San Francisco-based BlackRock Advisors LLC.
