Magnetar Capital sells 3.96 million shares of Kintera

Charlotte, N.C., June 5 - Magnetar Capital Partners LP sold 3,963,026 shares of Kintera, Inc. on May 30 priced from $1.08 to $1.0939 per share, or a total of $4.35 million.

The investors beneficially own 960,000 shares, or 2.3%, of the company's outstanding stock, it was reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On May 29, Blackbaud, Inc. announced it would acquire Kintera in a cash tender offer for $1.12 per share, or approximately $46 million.

Blackbaud's tender offer for Kintera is set to end on or around July 2, it was previously reported.

Kintera is a San Diego-based content management software developer.

Blackbaud, located Charleston, S.C., specializes in software, such as the Raiser's Edge, and services for nonprofit organizations.
