Biovail waives proxy voting cut-off

New York, Aug. 6 - Biovail Corp. said it extended the deadline for depositing proxies for the reconvened annual meeting to be held on Aug. 8.

The limit is now 10 a.m. ET on Aug. 8, the date of the meeting. Previously it was 10 a.m. ET on Aug. 6.

The Toronto-based specialty pharmaceutical company said the extension will allow all shareholders who have not yet had an opportunity to vote to complete and submit their proxy.
