S&P affirms Enel Americas

S&P said it affirmed its BBB corporate credit and senior unsecured debt ratings on Enel Americas SA.

The outlook remains stable.

The agency said the affirmation reflects Enel Americas’ operating and financial performance, which is still in line with S&P’s expectations.

“We continue to expect that Enel Americas will focus on growth (particularly in the distribution segment) and on increasing its operating efficiency, while maintaining modest debt leverage,” S&P said in a news release.
