BioMarin shareholder Millenco reports 4.4% ownership interest

Charlotte, N.C., July 31 - A group of BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. investors led by Millenco LLC reported beneficial ownership of 4,371,762 shares, or 4.4% of the company's outstanding stock, in a schedule 13D/A filed on Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Millenco made a series of buy and sell transactions between June 1 and July 30, the filing said.

On April 13, the group reported beneficial ownership of a 5.6% stake in the company.

BioMarin is biopharmaceutical company based in Novato, Calif.
