Non-brokered sale at C$0.12 per share garners insider participation

Knoxville, Tenn., June 28 – DXI Energy Inc. said it settled a C$642,000 initial tranche of a C$3 million non-brokered private placement of stock. The deal priced on May 26.
The company is selling common shares at C$0.12 apiece. The price per share is a 14.29% discount to C$0.14, the May 25 closing share price.
DXI sold 5.35 million common shares in the first tranche.
Hodgkinson Equities Corp. bought 3 million shares for C$360,000 and chief financial officer David Matheson bought 600,000 shares for C$72,000.
The oil and gas exploration company is based in Vancouver, B.C.
