Quercus sells more than 1 million shares of Beacon Power

Charlotte, N.C., April 1 - The Quercus Trust sold 1,025,781 shares of Beacon Power Corp. between Feb. 26 and March 28 priced from $0.89 to $1.28.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Quercus owns 14,125,862 shares, or 15.9%, of the Wilmington, Mass.-based company's common stock.

Beacon develops products and services to support electricity grid operation.
