Beacon Power shareholder Quercus Trust sells more than 1.1 million shares

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 12 - The Quercus Trust sold 1,100,916 shares of Beacon Power Corp. between Nov. 24 and Dec. 11 at prices from $0.55 to $0.6241 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Quercus owns approximately 10.72 million shares, or 11.3%, of the Wilmington, Mass.-based company's common stock.

Beacon develops products and services to support electricity grid operation.
