By Sara Rosenberg

New York, July 7 -Vought Aircraft Industries Inc. is scheduled to hold a lender call on Thursday to launch an amendment that would allow the company to sell its South Carolina operations to Boeing, according to a market source.

The Vought facility, which is being acquired for about $580 million in cash, performs fabrication and assembly of structures and systems installation of 787 aft fuselage sections, which are made primarily of composite materials.

In addition, the amendment would change the administrative agent to Barclays from Lehman.

Barclays is leading the amendment process.

Vought is a Dallas-based aerostructures company.
