Virtus Allocator Premium AlphaSector swaps security type of investments

San Diego, Nov. 3 - Virtus Opportunities Trust announced that the type of securities in which the alternative allocation of its Virtus Allocator Premium AlphaSector Fund will invest has been changed to exchange-traded funds representing gold, real estate and broad-based equity securities, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Previously, the alternative allocation could be invested in ETFs representing gold, real estate and stocks, without restriction as to market capitalization, bonds, without restriction as to credit quality, and short-term securities.

The fund's investment adviser is Hartford-based Virtus Investment Advisers, Inc.
