SRM Global's interest in Virgin Media falls below 5%

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 4 - SRM Global Fund General Partner Ltd. cut its stake in Virgin Media Inc. to 4.04% with the sale of 12.6 million shares of the company's stock.

The shares were sold on Sept. 3 for $12 each, it was reported in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In a prior SEC filing, SRM reported the sale of 3.95 million shares between Aug. 22 and Sept. 2 and a 7.88% stake in the company.

SRM owns 13,245,200 shares of the New York-based television, broadband and telephone services company's outstanding stock.
