Ventiv Health changes name to inVentiv Health to reflect broadened capabilities

Philadelphia, March 14 - Ventiv Health, Inc. announced Tuesday that it is changing its corporate brand name to inVentiv Health as part of a rebranding that began when Ventiv Health acquired inChord Communications in October 2005.

inVentiv, as previously announced, has organized its service offerings into three business segments serving its client base of more than 150 pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.

The segments include inVentiv Clinical, which provides services for clinical development and regulatory approval; inVentiv Communications, which provides advertising, communications, marketing and patient education and adherence services; and inVentiv Commercial, which provides clients with support to launch and maintain their products in the market.

Ventiv will begin conducting business with the new name immediately, officials said. The formal change of the corporate name will be effective following the annual shareholders meeting in June, subject to stockholder approval. The company's ticker symbol on Nasdaq will remain VTIV.

InVentiv, based in Somerset, N.J., is a provider of commercialization and complementary services to the global pharmaceutical, life sciences and biotechnology industries.
