Van Kampen Series 1187 liquidates BlackRock shares due to merger

San Diego, Feb. 22 - Van Kampen Unit Trusts, Series 1187 announced a change to its Inflation Hedge Portfolio, Series 4.

According to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, shares of the BlackRock Equity Dividend Trust, which is part of the portfolio, have been liquidated from the trust because of the scheduled merger of that fund.

Van Kampen Funds Inc. is the Houston-based depositor of Van Kampen unit investment trusts.
