Van Kampen's Series 1205 registers units of its six portfolios

San Diego, March 12 - Van Kampen Unit Trusts, Series 1205 has registered units of its six portfolios, according to an S-6 amendment filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Houston-based Van Kampen Funds Inc.

The unit investment trust will consist of the EAFE Select 20 Portfolio 2012-2, the Dow Jones Select Dividend Index Strategy Portfolio 2012-2, the Select 5 Industrial Portfolio 2012-2, the Select S&P Industrial Portfolio 2012-2, the Select S&P Core Portfolio 2012-21 and the Global 45 Dividend Strategy Portfolio 2012-2.

All of the portfolios seek above-average total return. The units will have a public offering price of $10 each.

The EAFE Select 20 Portfolio will invest in a portfolio of stocks included in the Morgan Stanley Capital International Europe, Australasia and Far East Index, or the MSCI EAFE index.

The Dow Jones Select Dividend Index Strategy Portfolio will invest in a portfolio of stocks selected from the Dow Jones Select Dividend Index.

The Select 5 Industrial Portfolio will select the 10 highest dividend-yielding stocks in the Dow Jones industrial average and invest in the five with the lowest share price.

The Select S&P Industrial Portfolio will invest in selected stocks included in the Standard & Poor's Industrial Index.

The Select S&P Core Portfolio will invest in stocks included in the S&P 500 Index.

The Global 45 Dividend Strategy Portfolio will invest in stocks of foreign and domestic companies selected using a combination of three investment strategies: the Select S&P Industrial Strategy, the Select 10 Industrial Strategy and the EAFE Select 20 Strategy.

The Select 10 Industrial Portfolio invests in the 10 highest dividend-yielding stocks in the Dow Jones industrial average.

All of the units will have a maximum sales charge of 2.95%, consisting of a 1% initial sales charge, a 1.45% deferred sales charge and a 0.5% creation and development fee. The fee may be reduced on a sliding scale to 1.2% depending on the amount of the investment.

The trust's initial date of deposit will be in April.
