Vanguard Long-Term Investment-Grade Fund extends average maturity

San Diego, Nov. 22 - Vanguard Long-Term Investment-Grade Fund announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that the fund's dollar-weighted average maturity is now expected to fall within a range that is five years shorter than or five years longer than that of its benchmark, correlating with a maturity that generally will be 15 to 30 years.

Previously, the fund was expected to maintain a dollar-weighted average maturity of 15 to 25 years.

The fund's investment adviser is Boston-based Wellington Management Co., LLP.
