New Issue: UPM sells €500 million 0.5% green bonds due 2031

Columbus, Ohio, March 15 – UPM-Kymmene Corp. sold €500 million of 0.5% 10-year green bonds, according to a press release.

Citigroup, BNP Paribas, Danske Bank and Nordea were the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for financing or refinancing eligible green projects and assets.

Helsinki, Finland-based UPM is a forest industry company that specializes in renewable products across its six businesses: UPM Biorefining, UPM Energy, UPM Raflatac, UPM Specialty Papers, UPM Communication Papers and UPM Plywood.
