University of Southern Mississippi offers $59 million refunding bonds

New York, Jan. 19 – The University of Southern Mississippi plans to price $59,015,000 of series 2016 revenue refunding bonds on Wednesday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds will be sold on a negotiated basis with Raymond James/Morgan Keegan as the senior manager and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC as the co-manager.

The bonds are due 2016 to 2039.

Proceeds will be used to refund the university’s series 2009 revenue bonds and its series 2009 certificates of participation.
