University of Pittsburgh organizes $100 million higher education bonds

New York, June 13 – The University of Pittsburgh is set to price $100 million of Panthers – Pitt asset notes – tax-exempt higher education registered series of 2014, according to a preliminary official statement.

The notes (MIG 1/SP-1+/) will be sold on a negotiated basis with Barclays as the sole underwriter.

The maturity date has not been set.

Proceeds will be used to refund the university’s series 2013 Panthers.
