Royce & Associates trims stake to 7.06% in Universal Technical Institute

Philadelphia, Dec. 4 - Royce & Associates, LLC decreased its investment to 7.06% in Universal Technical Institute Inc. as of Nov. 30, according to an SC 13G/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

That represents a passive stake of 1,770,705 shares.

Those holdings are down from the passive stake of 12.49%, or 3,519,800 shares, the company reported owning on Dec. 31, 2006.

On Sept. 30, 2006, the company first reported ownership of 12.15%, or 3,422,200 shares.

Universal Technical Institute is a Phoenix-based training program for careers in automotive, collision repair, motorcycle and marine technicians.
