Brencourt Advisors becomes active Uluru investor

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 20 - Uluru, Inc. shareholder Brencourt Advisors, LLC converted its filing status to activist investor from passive, it was reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.

According to the filing, Brencourt said it intends to review, from time to time, its investment in Uluru.

Brencourt may engage in communications with one or more shareholders, officers or directors of the company, including discussions regarding potential changes in Uluru's operations and strategic direction.

The changes, if effected, could result in, among other things, a change in the present board of directors or management, the filing noted.

Brencourt owns 18.01% of the Addison, Texas, pharmaceutical company.
