Ultralife Batteries investor becomes candidate for board

Charlotte, N.C., March 2 - Bradford T. Whitmore, a general partner in Grace Brothers, Ltd., is being considered as a candidate for election to Ultralife Batteries, Inc.'s board of directors, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As general partner of Grace, Whitmore beneficial owns 4,419,542 shares, or 29.6%, of Ultralife Batteries' common stock.

Whitmore does not have current plans to influence the board or the Newark, N.Y.-based battery manufacturer, according to the filing.
