By Toni Weeks

San Diego, March 30 - UBS Funds said that Thomas Cole will no longer be a portfolio manager for three of its funds.

The affected funds are the UBS U.S. Equity Alpha Fund, the UBS U.S. Equity Opportunity Fund and the UBS U.S. Large Cap Equity Fund.

According to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, John Leonard, one of the remaining portfolio managers of each fund, will assume Cole's portfolio management responsibilities.

Chicago-based UBS Global Asset Management (Americas) Inc. is the funds' investment adviser.
