Spire shareholder Quercus sells more shares, keeps 5.6% stake

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 26 - Spire Corp. investors led by Quercus Trust sold 112,652 shares of the company's stock, reducing their stake to 5.6% from 6.9%.

The shares were sold between Nov. 5 and Nov. 24 for $3.0767 to $8.3082 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Quercus reported the sale of 89,374 shares of the company's stock between Oct .7 and Nov. 4 at prices at from $8.17 to $13.89 each, a prior SEC filing said.

The investors beneficially own 463,449 shares of the Bedford, Mass., company's stock.

Spire develops engineered products in the areas of photovoltaic solar, biomedical and optoelectronics.
