SpineMedica raises $10.6 million in series A financing
New York, Oct. 31 - SpineMedica Corp. said it raised $10.6 million in a series A financing round spread over three months.
FCA Venture Partners III, a fund managed by Nashville-based Clayton Associates, the Trelys Funds of South Carolina, and A/B Partners III LP, managed by Archbrook Capital Management of New York and Philadelphia, participated along with individual investors.
SpineMedica is an Atlanta-based medical device company developing an artificial disc implant called SaluDisc. It has licensed hydrogel Salubria for use in the spine.
