Barclays eyes buffered SuperTrack notes on Russell, MidCap ETF basket

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 6 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price buffered SuperTrack notes due Jan. 3, 2020 linked to an equally weighted basket of the Russell 2000 index and the SPDR S&P MidCap 400 ETF Trust, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus double the basket gain, subject to a maximum payout of 21.75%. Investors will receive par if the basket declines by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
Barclays is the agent.
The notes (Cusip: 06744CA35) will price on Oct. 17 and settle on Oct. 20.
