New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $1 million buffered PLUS linked to SPDR S&P MidCap 400 ETF trust

Tacoma, Wash., March 9 - Morgan Stanley priced $1 million of 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due March 12, 2013 linked to the SPDR S&P MidCap 400 ETF trust, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any increase in the trust's share price, subject to a maximum return of 19.35%. Investors will receive par if the share price declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
