RBC plans bullish barrier enhanced return notes linked to SPDR Dow

Chicago, April 5 - Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 0% bullish barrier enhanced return notes due April 28, 2016 linked to the SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average exchange-traded fund trust, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.2 times any gain in the fund, up to a maximum return of 39% of 44%.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 25% and will be fully exposed to losses if the shares fall below the 75% barrier level.

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is the underwriter.

The notes will price on April 26 and settle on April 30.

The Cusip number is 78008SN44.
