Putnam waives part of small cap growth fund fees for class B shares

By Tali David

Minneapolis, Nov. 10 - Putnam Investments announced that it has waived a portion of its Small Cap Growth Fund's distribution and service fees for class B shares, according to a release.

This reduces the fees to 0.25% from 1%.

Putnam said that while this waiver is in effect, the total annual fund operating expenses for class B shares will be reduced, and class B shares will have lower annual expenses and higher dividends than class C, M or R shares.

Putnam is a Boston-based money management firm.
