Scolr to co-develop its CDT drug delivery technology

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 14 - Scolr Pharma, Inc. said it formed a research agreement with an unnamed global consumer products company to co-develop a novel application of its CDT drug delivery technology in exchange for a research fee.

"This agreement allows us to potentially capitalize on a new application of our CDT technology and may provide our partner with increased product differentiation," senior vice president of business and legal affairs Alan M. Mitchel said in a company news release.

This is the Bellevue, Wash.-based specialty pharmaceutical company's third collaboration in the last 10 months.
