ProAssurance eyeing $250 million 10-year senior notes offer

Virginia Beach, Nov. 18 - ProAssurance Corp. is eyeing a $250 million 10-year offering of senior notes, according to a syndicate source and a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.

The joint bookrunners are Goldman Sachs & Co., Wells Fargo Securities LLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

ProAssurance is a holding company for property and casualty insurance companies focused on professional liability insurance. It is based in Birmingham, Ala.
